I partner with teens to coach them to build self-awareness, knowledge, and skills that they can use for the rest of their lives. I have a warm and respectful manner that is disarming and allows teens to be able to relax and express themselves in my presence. I genuinely enjoy working with them around the topics and goals of their choice.
- Practicing healthier ways to take care of oneself (sleep, regular movement, and eating well)
- Greater ease in navigating transitions- high school, college
- Greater confidence in making life decisions- school, vocations, etc.
- Better planning, organizing, and task follow through
- Improved study and/or job skills
- Positive Behavior Change
- Better self-management, motivation and focus
- Establishing a healthier relationship with social media
- Establishing and maintaining healthy relationships
- Learning ways to self-advocate
- Improved social and communication skills
- Improved boundary-setting, confidence & self-esteem
- Increased ability to think critically, manage emotions & to manage stress
- Building awareness around neurodiversity and learning to recognize and honor one’s unique needs and preferences
We live in a cookie cutter society where there are strict formulas for success. The pressure on teens to conform and perform can be overwhelming. My philosophy is this: in reality, everyone is an individual. If your teen is a square peg trying to fit into a round hole, they’re going to wind up feeling stressed out, overwhelmed, or even like a failure. I offer coaching services that bolster a teen’s self-concept, and together we design ways of being and doing things that support who the teen is. This leads to a better balance between meeting responsibilities and going after what they really want in life.
